Ruby – the July birthstone
The ruby is the second hardest natural mineral known. The red color in a ruby is created by trace amounts of chromium and the best shade of red is often called “pigeon blood red.” Rubies come from across the globe but good rubies typically are found in Thailand, India, Madagascar, Zimbabwe and North Carolina in the U.S. Rubies have a special place in science – the first lasers were created from artificial ruby crystals.

Congratulations to our Father’s Day Contest Winners!
The contest winners were supposed to send in a picture of themselves and their fathers doing something they enjoyed, and we really appreciated all the entries received. The winners are Lindsay of Hazel Park and Katelyn of Madison Heights.

We can engrave items such as rings, charms, crosses, plaques, banks, clocks, watches, wine bottles, money clips, picture frames and many, many other items. All work done in-store.
